Using Access Keys
Unfortunately different browsers have different methods for implementing access keys. We have provided details of the main browsers below.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5+
If you are using a PC: hold down the ALT key and press the access key you want. Let go and press the ENTER/RETURN key.
If you are using a MAC: hold down the CTRL key and press the access key you want.
Firefox 1
If you are using a PC: hold down the ALT key and press the access key you want.
If you are using a MAC: hold down the CTRL key and press the access key you want.
Firefox 2 doesn’t support the access keys specified in the UK Government guidelines.
Opera
Hold down the SHIFT key and press the ESC/ESCAPE key. Let go and then press the access key you want.
