Tamara Hasson - Solicitor and Head of the Living Together Team
Tamara specialises in all aspects of private client work, including wills and inheritance tax planning, the administration of estates and trusts, care home fees and Court of Protection work. Tamara also undertakes contentious work; advising individuals and families in relation to disputes involving wills and the administration of estates and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
Maggie Roberts - Partner
Maggie has been practising exclusively family law for the past 15 years and she specialises in financial matters on relationship breakdown, including complex family businesses. She is an accredited specialist with Resolution, the national organisation for family lawyers. Maggie is a trained collaborative practitioner, and believes that collaborative law is a specially useful way to resolve disputes in this area which otherwise is hampered by old fashioned law that does not meet the needs of modern relationships.
Peter Shaw - Consultant
Peter has specialised in family law for the past 17 years, particularly in cases involving debt, housing and benefit/tax credit issues. He is also increasingly involved with people from all walks of life in resolving their family law issues by way of mediation and collaborative family law.
Jessica Pitt - Solicitor
Jessica specialises in cohabitation cases, divorce and matrimonial finance in the Exeter office. Jessica deals with drafting cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements and contested cohabitation disputes. She also undertakes civil partnership work.
Anna Phillips - Associate
Anna advises internally to ensure that Foot Anstey's clients plan ahead with the aim of avoiding disputes. She also advises on residential and cohabitation disputes that have arisen such as claims to shares in property. Anna is client focused, taking a resolution based approach rooted in the aims and objectives of the each individual. Anna also advises on property related professional negligence which often goes hand in hand with property related disputes.
Anna is Chair of the Devon and Cornwall satellite branch of Women in Property and a member of the Property Litigation Association. She regularly presents seminars and writes articles on the field of Property Litigation."
