Like DIY, happiness shouldn’t be left to chance. If you’re about to commit to a new relationship, moving in with your partner or getting engaged, don’t forget the most important thing; making it last.
If you have been married before, entering into a new relationship can be daunting, and it can be difficult to combine aspects of your old and new lives without upsetting and offending one another.
This is especially true if you or your partner have children with your former spouse. So, to help couples who have been divorced and are embarking on a new relationship or those taking the next step to commitment, the counselling service Relate and solicitors Foot Anstey plan to hold a course in Exeter.
The three-hour course, named Happily Ever After , aims to help relationships get off to a good start and in a relaxed environment provide a chance for you and your partner to plan your future together.
Happily Ever After will explore the emotional and practical aspects of developing your relationship, helping you work together as a couple and guiding you through what can be a legal minefield.
The date for the course has not yet been confirmed but if you would like to register your interest please contact Relate. The course is £20 per couple, all proceeds to Relate and there are some concessions available.
